  • Almost every door that leaves our shop, has a custom feature of some kind. From custom sizing, finishes, glass, sidelites, wrought iron accents, arch top, exotic and all types of hardwood…. the options are endless. If you can imagine it, we CAN build it.

  • Solid wood boasts exceptional insulating properties. Wood is a great insulator due to its cellular structure. These cells trap air, which hinders the transfer of heat and sound. Additionally, wood's low thermal conductivity helps restrict the movement of heat through it, making it a very effective insulator.

  • Not necessarily! If you are replacing existing doors and the jambs are in great shape, we can build you the slab that will install directly into your old jamb set. When choosing a shopping cart option, choose “No Jamb” and leave us a note in the order comments with sizing requirements.

  • Yes! We have shipped to all 50 states and have refined the process quite well. We charge actual freight/material cost and every door is shipped in a wooden crate to ensure no damage during shipping. Delivery will be made to your home or business and lift gate services are also available.

  • Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes! Again, we can build exactly what you need, whether its matching existing materials or completely custom, one of a kind… We will get it done.

Adirondack Naturals was founded by Richard Purdue in Lake George, NY.  Richard, a skilled rustic furniture maker and log home builder, shifted into crafting solid wood doors after noticing a steep decline in quality products available to the average consumer.  Starting the business in 1999 with his two sons, Matt & Chris, they have been on a mission to offer top quality, handmade doors that are affordable and made in the USA.
